1.
Roll orange colored clay into a log for the legs. Make
one side larger for the foot then using scissors, cut
out the toes. Cut the top of the leg and embed a toothpick
for support. |

2.
Roll yellow clay into a teardrop shape for the body. Sharpen
one end and bend it up slightly for the tail. Elongate
the other end slightly for the head. |

3.
Roll
yellow clay into teardrops then flatten to form wings.
Texture feathers with Makin's Mallet. Attach the wings
onto the body. |

4.
Hollow two holes at the bottom of the body for the legs. |

5.
Roll a small amount of orange colored clay for the beak
then attach to the head. |
|

 |
6.
Use red clay for the crown and the sides of the mouth.
Shape according to the diagram then attach to the head. |

 |
7.
Use white and black clay for the eyes. Assemble as shown
and attach to the head. |

8.
Put the legs into the holes in the body. |
|
|
 |
9.
Place beside the Easter Eggs Basket. (Please refer to
the "Easter Eggs Basket" Project). |
