1.
Roll orange colored clay into teardrop shape and bend
to form legs. Cut toes with scissors and shape with Makin's
Rasp. Embed a toothpick into the leg for support. |

2.
Roll yellow clay into an egg shape then slightly sharpen
smaller end to make the tail. |

 |
3.
Roll
yellow clay into small teardrops then flatten to form
wings. Add details with Makin's Mallet. Stick the wings
to the side of the body. |

4.
Put two holes into the base of the chick to attach legs.
Stick legs into the body. |

5.
Roll orange colored clay into small cones. Cut the middle
with scissors, but do not cut right through. Indent and
shape beak with Makin's Mallet. Attach beak to chick. |

6.
Make and add eyes onto the chick. |

7.
Arrange the chick beside the Easter egg basket (Please
refer to Project "Easter Egg Basket" for instructions.) |
