Method: |
1.
Cut out the face from plastic sheet as shown. |
2.
Roll Neon orange clay into a sheet. Place a crumpled piece
of plastic in the middle of the clay then fold and trim
as shown. Smooth over seams and edges. Texture with Makin's
Roller and Cutter. |
3.
Press the plastic sheet from step 1 firmly into the pumpkin.
Trace with Makin's Chisel. Roll a sheet of glow-in-the-dark
clay, cut out the eyes and mouth then stick it onto the
pumpkin. |
4.
Roll neon orange clay into a disk shape slightly larger
than the pumpkin opening. Texture the surface with Makin's
Rollers and Cutters then indent a hole on top for the
stem. Indent two holes on the bottom to fit the cat's
ears. |
5.
Roll brown clay into a cone for the stem. Make a small
leaf with Makin's Push Mold and stick them into place. |
6.
Use black clay to make the cat's tail as shown in the
diagram. Texture the larger end with Makin's Chisel. Leave
to dry. Press glow-in-the-dark strips of clay into the
tail then texture again. |
7.
Roll and shape black clay into a teardrop as shown to
make the body. |
8.
Roll glow-in-the-dark Clay into teeth for the cat. |
9.
Roll black clay into an oval ball for the head. Use a
clay pusher to form the ears then shape to make a sharper
point. Use a bottle cap to mark indents for the mouth
as shown. Add on glow-in-the-dark fangs. |
10.
Roll
a small amount of glow-in-the-dark clay into a sheet and
stamp out with the smallest Makin's Clay Cutter (Heart).
Cut out the sides of the heart and stick them onto the
cat as eyes. Shape a small piece of clay into a triangle
for the nose. |
11.
Indent
the face to place the whiskers. Cut a few strands from
the brush and attach to the face. |
12.
Blend
strips of glow-in-the-dark clay onto the face then attach
the head to the body. |
13.
For
the claws, roll the black clay as shown. Indent the center
of the larger end with Makin's Chisel then insert the
nail into it. Stick them onto the pumpkin as shown. |
14.
Place
the cat into the pumpkin and then finish by placing the
lid on top. |
