  • Method:
        1. Roll a 5mm thick brown sheet with Makin's Roller. Cut one 20mm x 130mm & two 25mm x 110mm rectangles by Makin's Roller & Cutter. Texture the surface by Makin's Chisel. Texture both ends of the longer rectangle by Makin's Chisel as well.
        2. The sign's wooden effect is created by unevenly mixing terra cotta and brown. Roll the wood color clay into a sheet with Makin's Roller and cut into a 25mm x 130mm rectangle. Texture and write message with Makin's Chisel.
      3. Roll black clay as shown in the diagram. Make 2 holes on the sign for placing pins. Stick the teardrop inside the holes of the sign, then the flattened round shape.
    4. Roll a light blue clay sheet with Makin's Roller. Cut boat shape according to paper pattern and texture with Makin's Mallet. Cut two 60mm x10mm and one 30mm x10mm rectangles with Makin's Roller & Cutter. Assemble pieces to form bottom of boat. Cut a 60mm x 10mm white strip with Makin's Roller & Cutter to make seats. Stick to the boat as shown and form top of boat.
        5. Roll white clay into oar handle. Roll and shape light brown clay into the head of the oar then decorate handle with light blue clay.
    6. To make sap green, combine yellow, green and brown clay. Mix evenly then roll into an oval shape and flatten. Texture with Makin's Chisel then place top of basket on, and cut open with Makin's Rasp.
    7. Roll Flesh colored clay into a long teardrop shape then bend into shape of a pigeon. Shape a small ball of clay into a wing and texture with Makin's Chisel. Also indent eye with Makin's Chisel. Glue on a small amount of yellow clay as the beak.
      8. Roll out and shape gray colored clay as shown in the diagram to make fish. Texture with half of a straw, Makin's Mallet and Chisel.
      9. Roll yellow clay into a long thin rod. Roll black clay into string and wrap this around the rod. Roll red clay into a reel as shown in the diagram, then add black dot in the middle.
      10. Bend a wire to make a fish hook. Put a red and a white ball of clay together and penetrate with wire. Attach hook to rod with a black string.
        11. Assemble according to finished work.
